Public Meetings

Our legislation requires that we hold public meetings at least every two years in each of the nine provinces that participate in the Canada Pension Plan. The purpose of these meetings is to present the most recent annual report and to provide the public with the opportunity to ask questions about our policies, operations and future plans.

In September 2010, Robert Astley, Chairperson of the Board of Directors and David Denison, President and CEO travelled to the nine participating provinces of the Canada Pension Plan to discuss the CPP Investment Board’s latest annual report, the investment  program, and its mission to manage one of the fastest growing pools of investment capital in the world.
