Careers in Private Investments Private Investments makes all of CPP Investment Board’s private investments globally (excluding real estate) that out-perform comparable passive public alternatives. There are five distinct teams within Private Investments:
Asset Management • driving value creation within the Private Investments portfolio
Funds & Secondaries • making primary commitments to private equity funds and secondary purchases of private equity portfolios and focussing on large and middle-market buyout funds
Infrastructure • making direct investments in global infrastructure assets and often working in concern with strong consortia of partners
Principal Investing • co-sponsorships and co-investments in private equity transactions, including all non-Canadian investments undertaken alongside our general partners
Private Debt • making direct investments in leveraged loan, high yield, mezzanine and other debt solutions and focussing on event-driven transactions
